Learner questions
Ask a potential advisor to find out:
- Are they available to advise for the amount of time you need and on a topic in which you’re interested?
- Do they have ideas for a community organization to work with or other students to talk to about the topic?
- Have they advised learners doing project work? If not are they okay with taking on something new?
- Have they advised learners doing project work on the topic before? If so, do they have ideas for maximizing community or other impacts?
Do they have workable expectations for project reflection and other components?
